Fr. Martin Cup: Letran trips FEU despite missing Alas brothers

Letran pulled off a 56-49 win over Far Eastern University despite the Knights missing the services of injured brothers Kevin and Junjun in the 18th Fr. Martin Summer Cup at the Trinity University of Asia gymnasium in Quezon City.

 

Belorio paced the Intramuros-based quintet with 14 points while Lituania scattered 12. University of the Philippines turned back Lyceum of the Philippines University, 47-45, in the other seniors division match while the Ateneo Blue Eaglets clinched their third straight win after an 80-67 crushing of the National University Bullpups in the juniors side. In other high school division matches, La Salle-Zobel coasted to a 78-56 win over Jesus is Lord Christian Collegs Foundation, while FEU-FERN scored a 66-44 decision against Jose Rizal University Light Bombers. — JVP, GMA News
