UAAP Cheerdance: UP Pep makes it three in a row

It was all business for UP Pep. As their fans expected, the University of the Philippines Pep Squad claimed their third straight victory at the 2012 UAAP Cheerdance Competition at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday. The Maroons have also won five titles in the last six years. The team has won it all since 2007, except for 2009, when Far Eastern University and Ateneo De Manila University nabbed the first and second places, respectively. UP adds to its total haul of seven championships, tying University of Santo Tomas with the most wins in UAAP history. The Tamaraws took home the first runner-up trophy, while NU made its maiden podium finish at third place. -- HS, GMA News
