UAAP: Jeric Teng injury identified as anterior labrum tear, will miss more games
The University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers will have to make do without fifth-year swingman Jeric Teng for several more games, after he disclosed on Twitter that he had suffered a slight anterior labrum tear in his shoulder.
There is no definite date when I can play again. I hope it's sometime soon. I miss playing for all of you. It's really sad. Very sad :'(

Also sad to find out that my injury came from the push. Intentional or not, I forgive him. Who am I not to forgive.

Teng incurred the injury last Wednesday, versus the NU Bulldogs, when Jeoffrey Javillonar slammed into him from behind. Javillonar was later assessed a warning after the game, equivalent to having picked up an unsportsmanlike foul during the game.

The graduating scoring machine also added that "there is no definite date" when he can return.
The Tigers won their game Saturday against the UE Red Warriors sans Teng, 88-77, improving their record to 3-1, good for a tie for second-place with the aforementioned NU.
After three games, Teng has averages of 15.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 steals.
UST has three more games to come in the first round, versus FEU, UP and defending champions ADMU. The league then takes an extended break before round two, due to the FIBA Asia Championship. - AMD, GMA News
