UAAP: 'Gary V' outfits of La Salle coaches a hit online

The coaching staff of the defending champion De La Salle Green Archers, led by coach Juno Sauler, are known for their no-nonsense demeanor.

So it was quite a surprise to see them on opening day rocking outfits that are, well, a little flashy, with white shirts and jackets paired with green ties and pants.

The La Salle fan account @morefuninDLSU initially tweeted a photo of the coaching staff posing with La Salle patron Danding Cojuangco, who was also in the same outfit.

Broadcaster and GMA News Online columnist Mico Halili compared their get-up to another famous La Sallian, Gary Valenciano, who was known for his rolling up his sleeves on his white blazers.
