UAAP suspends two UST women's basketball players, to probe post-game slapping incident

The UAAP threw the book at two women's basketball players from University of Santo Tomas on Monday for fouls committed during a heated game against National University last Saturday.
League commissioner Andy Jao announced one-game suspensions for Bettina Penaflor for elbowing an opponent and Kim Reyes for punching an opponent.
Both players were ejected from the game after the incidents. They will serve out their ban in UST's next game against La Salle.

Jao also summoned UST women's basketball coach Chris Cantonjos for his collission with referee Karl Mercines during the game.
