The Moneymen were able to limit Fil-Am Ryan Reyes's production as four of coach Luigi Trillo's wards scored in double figures to stretch their winning streak to four and erect a 7-2 card. Cebuana's victory gave the Super Sealers their fifth defeat in nine games and came after giving Toyota Balintawak a 103-63 beating last Saturday. Erick De La Cuesta delivered 15 points while Macky Escalona provided 13, Ariel Capus 12 and Doug Kramer 10. Kramer added 12 rebounds while Escalona and Capus combined for 13 assists as the Moneymen dominated their opponents in the category, 23-12. Kelvin Dela Pena helped De La Cuesta defend against Reyes who was limited to nine points after averaging 17 markers in his first three games. Without Reyes' offense, the Super Sealers just fell apart against the Moneymen, who posted their biggest lead at 73-59 with 3:05 seconds remaining on two free throws by Kramer.
