Ryan Reyes led the Super Sealers, coached by Caloy Garcia, in cementing their fifth triumph in 11 games and in moving closer to earning the twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals. The Whoppers, on the other hand, suffered their seventh consecutive defeat. Reyes produced 16 points, including a three-point play on a foul by J.R. Quinahan that gave the Super Sealers a 75-65 advantage in the last 3:18 minutes. But the Whoppers erased that margin and threatened to within three points with an 8-0 bomb, forcing the Super Sealers to put up a stiff defense to protect their advantage. Reyes forced Ronjay Buenafe and Quinahan to consecutive turnovers while Dondon Villamin was called for an inbound error in their last possession with 14.6 remaining. Mike Bravo paced the Whoppers with 20 points.
