UAAP: Alyssa Valdez bags back-to-back MVP in women's volleyball

Ateneo Lady Eagles team captain Alyssa Valdez bagged the Most Valuable Player award for the second straight year.
The Ateneo superstar, who led the defending champions to an undefeated season so far, was also hailed as the league's Best Scorer and Best Server in the awarding ceremony on Saturday before Game Two of the finals.
Lady Eagles Jia Morado and Denden Lazaro also won the Best Setter and Best Receiver, respectively.
Other individual awardees were National University's Jaja Santiago as Best Spiker, University of Santo Tomas' Ria Meneses as Best Blocker, and Far Eastern University's Christine Agno as Best Digger.
Meanwhile, EJ Laure of UST and Kathleen Arado of University of the East shared the Rookie of the Year honors. - RAF, GMA News
