Filipino kids will have a once-in-a-lifetime experience in the Jr. NBA Basketball Clinics. The reason? Dallas Mavericks' Jerry Stackhouse will be flyng into town to conduct the clinics, said Chevron officials Jorge Marco and Enrico de Leon in Tuesday's Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum at the Shakey's branch at the United Nations Avenue in Malate, Manila. "We're very excited and we're looking forward to a fun-filled day with Mr. Stackhouse," Marco, Chevron's international communications officer, said Stackhouse will arrive on July 8 to conduct the Jr. NBA Basketball Clinics at the Mall of Asia. About a hundred kids of Chevron employees, dealers, and media practitioners' children (aged 9 to 14 years old) will take part in the cage clinic, which starts at 9 a.m. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. The clinic is part of the NBA's Jr. NBA basketball program in the Philippines. Stackhouse will be joined by the Mavs Dancers and their dunking mascot, Mavs Man. The 12-year NBA veteran Stackhouse will also participate in on-court basketball competitions and interact with fans. He will share basketball tips and insights on what it takes to be a successful basketball player. - GMANews.TV
