Top cue masters join Pacman Int'l 9-Ball Open

The top cue artists of the Philippines will compete in P2-million Manny Pacquiao International 9-Ball Open to be held from October 24 to 27 in Pasay City. Efren "Bata" Reyes and Francisco "Django" Bustamante have already confirmed their entry to the competition, according to organizer Julie Falcon Guevarra. Other contestants include World Pool champion Ronnie Alcano, Dennis Orcollo, Warren Kiamco, and Lee Van Corteza. At stake in the billiards competition, put up by boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao, is P1 million for the champion and P500,000 for the runner-up. The qualifying rounds of the tournament will be staged at the Hobbies of Asia Building on Macapagal Avenue.
