AdU Pep Squad clinches gold in Asia Cheerleading Invitational

The Adamson University Pep Squad on Saturday bagged a gold medal at the Asia Cheerleading Invitational Championships 2018 held in Singapore.

On its Facebook page, the Adamson University announced that its cheering squad won in the Pom Division.

"Congratulations Adamson University PEP SQUAD, Gold Medalist Asia Cheerleading Invitational Championship POM Division! The whole Adamson Community is very proud of you!"

The Asia Cheerleading Invitational Championships (ACIC) is a competition open to all international teams across the globe, with different age divisions across all cheer levels and freestyle pom. It follows the rules and scoring of the International Cheer Union (ICU).

This year, the championships were held from March 31 to April 1.

Last year, the AdU Pep Squad, for the first time, became UAAP Cheerdance Competition champions.

A victory party was held a week after with a disco theme and bonfire. — MDM, GMA News
