At the Athletes' Village in New Clark City, delegates to the 30th Southeast Asian Games are comfortably served with authentic Pinoy gustatory delights and other dishes courtesy of celebrity chef Sau del Rosario.

Del Rosario posted a selfie on Instagram showing the spacious kitchen where he whips up savory meals fit for the best athletes.

Athletes' Village in Capas, Tarlac was well-received by several foreign athletes and guests who have already checked in ahead of the SEA Games opening ceremony on November 30.

After previous complaints by delegates about the repetitive menu and lack of halal food and drinking water, athletes said they are enjoying their meals at Athlete’s Village, far from the kikiam and egg breakfast meal served to some delegates the other day.

“‘Yong uri ng pagkain namin dito is international. Mayroong Chinese, Thai, Filipino. Of course, we are highlighting our own cuisine which is Kapampangan," Del Rosario said.

The kitchen is open 24 hours a day to serve unlimited meals, and the menu, which changes every day, is always approved by nutritional experts.

The kitchen also serves halal food for Muslim delegates.
