Featured for only the second time in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, floorball is “a very fast and dynamic sport truly worthy to be on the program of any multi-sport event,” the secretary-general of the International Floorball Federation (IFF) has said.
"Floorball is a very fast and dynamic sport with a lot of spectacular player moves, fancy goals, and game transitions. It fits well into the program of any biennial multi-sport event as modern team sport so it is [only] fair to say that floorball, as it is growing very fast all over the world, but especially in Asia, is truly worthy to be on the program of any multi-sport event,” shared secretary general John Liljelund of the IFF in an interview GMA News Online in an email interview last Monday.
The Philippines men's team was ranked 4th when floorball was introduced in the sport program in 2015.
