Scenes from the Olympic Village as Philippine athletes arrive, start training for Tokyo 2020

Two more members of the Philippine delegation arrived in Japan on Tuesday for the Tokyo Olympics which will open on Friday.

Margielyn Didal (skateboarding) and Kristina Knott (track and field) posted on their social media accounts some of the things they first saw in Tokyo.

On Monday, other athletes also had some free time to meet with their compatriots in the games.

Aside from seeing gymnast Carlos Yulo early Monday morning, weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz also saw fellow weightlifter Elreen Ando and the rest of the Philippine boxing team.

A total of 19 athletes will represent the Philippines in the Tokyo Olympics.
