Tryouts scheduled for Baseball Philippines series

Anyone who's keen on playing in the Baseball Philippines series may attend tryouts on February 16 and 23, according to an announcement made on Monday by Community Sports Inc., organizer of the tournament.l Those selected in the tryouts will become members of the teams competing in the tournament. The first open tryout will be held at the Ayala Alabang Country Club baseball field No. 2 in Muntinlupa City from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The second will be at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium, also starting at 9 a.m. Participants are advised to be at both venues by 8 a.m. to compete all registration requirements and uniform measurements. Eight teams are expected to vie for top honors in BP Series III unfolding March 23 at the Rizal baseball stadium. - GMANews.TV
