Carli de Murga struck thrice in the first half (20', 37', 45',) to put the UFL side ahead of DPMM, before feeding a cross to first-leg hero Rufo Sanchez in the 50th minute, for a commanding 4-0 tally.
DPMM however almost forced extra time with four goals, equalizing the second-leg score at 4-4. However, thanks to Sanchez's first-leg goal, Global had enough to progress to the next round.
