Kuwaiti football team attacks referee

A soccer game in the Crown Prince Cup in Kuwait was marred by an ugly physical altercation after a team manager attacked a referee in the middle of the match.

The manager of Al Jahra apparently disagreed with the official's decision to expel one of their players from the game against Khaytan.

He vehemently complained at first, but eventually lost his cool as he beat the referee down before security arrived to control the situation.

The players, however, followed the manager's example and went after the referee as the fracas erupted into a free for all.
