Cristiano Ronaldo becomes first person to reach 400M followers on Instagram

Cristiano Ronaldo became the first person to reach 400 million followers on Instagram and the football superstar could not help but yell is famous expression.

"400 million. Wow, what a number. Now I can say, Siuuuu," Ronaldo said in a video posted on his Instagram account on Monday.

The Portuguese player thanked his followers for the achievement ,which he described as a "fantastic moment."

"Without you, this will be impossible," he said. "I will share my life with you, all the things with you because you deserve it."

According to an ESPN report earlier this month, the account of the Manchester United player places second behind Instagram's account which has 473 million followers as of writing.

In the Philippines, celebrity Anne Curtis is the most followed person on Instagram with 17.6 million followers. — LA, GMA News
