PFL champs Kaya FC wrap season on high note at Stallion FC's expense

It was the perfect ending for the champions as Kaya FC wrapped its season on a sweet note with a victory over Stallion Laguna FC, 3-1, in the Philippines Football League on Saturday at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Tamon Horikoshi, Jhan Melliza, and Jarvey Gayoso's goals assured Kaya its highest finish in the league with 55 points on 18 wins, 1 draw, and 3 losses.

Daizo Horikoshi received the Golden Ball award as the league's top scorer while Zach Banzon received the Golden Glove as the best goalkeeper of the season.

Prior to the match, Kaya FC had already clinched the PFL title — its first in club history — title as they were already assured of finishing with on top of the table.
