Makati FC dominates Denmark tilt with four titles

Makati FC claimed titles in four divisions in the recently concluded Cup No. 1 in Frederikshavn, Denmark.

The club emerged as the champions of the Boys 11 division after winning against Denmark's Hobro IK, 3-0, in the finals. In the Boys 13 class, the team also claimed the title after defeating Guatemala's Escuela La Academia FC, 6-5.

The Girls 12/13 team completed a six-match sweep of its division capped by a 5-1 romp of Norway's Nord SK, while the Girls 14 team went undefeated in six matches. finishing with a 3-0 victory over the United States' San Francisco Seals.

The club will see action next in the Gothia World Youth Cup, the 47th edition of the world’s largest and most international youth football tournament, on July 17 to 22 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
