Alex Eala at the 2026 US Open: Schedule, draw, and match time

Alexandra “Alex” Eala will open her US Open women’s singles campaign on Tuesday (Wednesday, Philippine time) against American Mary Stoiana.

Eala hopes to make more history at the US Open after reaching the second round of the American Grand Slam last year.

Seeded No. 17, her highest-ever seeding in a Grand Slam tournament, the Filipina ace will take on Stoiana, the world No. 122, who advanced through three qualifying-round wins.

Here is Eala’s schedule in the US Open women’s singles tournament:

• Round of 128: Alex Eala vs. Mary Stoiana — September 2, Philippine time, around 8:40 a.m. or after the match between Adolfo Vallejo and Gael Monfils

Prior to the singles tournament, Eala also competed in mixed doubles with Felix Auger-Aliassime, where they fell to Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils, 4-1, 4-1.

She also faced good friend Iva Jovic in the “Stars of the Open” exhibition match, where she fell short, 6-3.

The US Open is a special tournament for Eala, who won the girls’ singles title at the US Open in 2022.
