Cyclists to conquer SCTEX for a cause

Non-professional cyclists will have a chance to contribute to their communities through the 7-Eleven Tour 700 Race for Charity Bayani Ng Barangay event on May 13. Two years after its first charity race, 7-Eleven is back as they pledge to donate bicycles to the various category winners' barangays of choice. Cyclists will have a choice between the 40km and the 100km races through the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), with each participant being given six hours to finish the race. Over 1,500 cyclists have signed up for the event with six days left in the registration period. Interested cyclists can enter the race using mountain bikes or road bikes.
