Golf: Que, Tabuena stay on top of TCC Invitational
Angelo Que and Miguel Tabuena each churned out an even par 70 to maintain pole position after two rounds of the P5-million The Country Club Invitational at the wind-swept TCC course in Canlubang, Laguna. "Overall, I played well despite a bogey on the 17th," said Tabuena, winner of two ICTSI-Philippine Golf Tour legs in 2012. That lead of Que and Tabuena, though, is too small for them to celebrate early. Defending champ Juvic Pagunsan (72), erstwhile leader Frankie Minoza (73) and Jay Bayron (72) were on 141s. Rey Pagunsan had a 71 for 142 and solo eighth. Carl Santos-Ocampo, who was cut in the Asian Tour Q-School two weeks ago, followed with a 73 for 143 while Elmer Salvador(73) and Clyde Mondilla (73) were on 144s. Meanwhile, Dottie Ardina (72-146) continued to hold fort in the race for the amateur crown. Cyna Rodriguez (73) and Lovelyn Guioguio (75) were four strokes back on 150 and Jayvie Agojo had a back-to-back 76 for 152. - AMD, GMA News
