The Philippine Army copped third place in the Shakey's V-League Season 10 Open Conference after claiming game two in their best-of-three series, 25-18 23-25 25-23 25-15, Sunday at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Army had earlier won game one last Tuesday, 26-24 29-27 25-21, also at the FilOil Flying V Arena.

Rachel Anne Daquis pumped in 17 points to lead Army, as four other teammates finished with double-digit scoring.

Mary Jean Balse added 15 points, four off blocks, three off services aces, Nerissa Bautista and conference MVP Jovelyn Gonzaga chimed in with 11 markers each, and Jacqueline Alarca provided 10.

Iari Yongco's 19 points were not enough to carry Air Force. Joy Cases added 13, while Judy Ann Caballejo scored 12.
