SEA Games: Two more bronze medals for PH in boat race, shooting

The Philippines added two medals to it Southeast Asian Games haul on Saturday, bagging a bronze each in traditional boat race and men's shooting.

The traditional boat race team clocked in 1:07.992, enough for a podium finish behind Thailand and Myanmar which won the gold and silver, respectively.

Jayson Valdez, meanwhile, also secured the bronze in men's 10m air rifle with 181 points, far from the Thai gold and silver medalists Pongsaton Panyatong and Napis Tortungpanich who had 207.9 and 206.8 points.

The two podium finishes improved the Philippines' medal tally to one gold, four silver, and five bronze medals for a total of 10 medals for sixth place. - RAF, GMA News
