Mark Muñoz returning to Manila to help promote UFC

Retired Filipino-American mixed martial arts fighter Mark Muñoz is coming back to the Philippines to help promote the second installment of UFC Fight Night Manila on October 15 at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

Muñoz, who retired in front of his Filipino fans in UFC's first visit to the Philippines last year, expressed his excitement in coming back to Manila to promote the upcoming event.

"It is a dream to come back to the country that gave me an unforgettable ending to my journey as a professional fighter,” said Muñoz.

Other than helping the world's premiere MMA organization boost the show, Muñoz, a renowned wrestler, says he also hopes to help local talents in improving their craft.

"As I return to promote UFC Fight Night Manila, I also hope to share my passion, talent, and abilities to our young Filipino athletes," said Muñoz.

"I look forward to helping my kababayans take their game to the next level. I hope to see more Filipinos make a name for themselves in the Octagon in the future." —JST, GMA News
