Pinoy fighter Trestle Tan choked to submission in the first round

KUALA LUMPUR - Filipino mixed martial arts fighter Trestle Tan simply had no answer to Agilan Thani's ground as he tapped to submission in the opening round of their encounter at ONE Championship: Unbreakable Warriors, Friday night at Stadium Negara.

Tan started the fight coming forward hoping to lure his foe to exchange. Thani, however, took the fight to the ground where he scored several shots from a ground and pound position. 

Unable to defend himself, Tan gave his back, and the hometown fighter was more than happy to take advantage of by securing a rear naked choke at the 2:24 or round one.

The win improved Thani's unbeaten record to 6-0 while Tan dropped to 4-6. —JST, GMA News
