Folayang's crack at a world title has been a long time coming according to Cui, an opportunity he believes that couldn't come at a better time.

"Filipino fans have been waiting a long time for this. It's been five years coming for Folayang's career, he's had setbacks but he's finally gotten here and it's the biggest fight of his entire life," Cui told GMA News Online.

"It couldn't be a greater honor than to fight a kind of champion like Shinya Aoki. Not only that it's a fantastic opportunity but it shows the level that he has risen to have a chance to fight a veteran competitor and a champion like that. I think it's going to be an exciting night."

With Aoki calling Singapore his second home and a huge Filipino community that is expected to rally behind Folayang come fight night, Cui is also positive that the stadium would be packed.

"In Singapore we are always sold out here so it's great to fill up this place and it's going to be packed from top to bottom." — BAP, GMA News
