Morente, De Leon lead the flock as Lady Eagles repeat vs La Salle  

The Ateneo Lady Eagles showed their dominance of the defending champions anew, registering a 12-25 25-20 25-21 25-19 victory over the DLSU Lady Spikers on Saturday.

Michelle Morente and Bea De Laon had 14 points each, while Juliana Samonte added 10 markers, in a game that saw the winner score fewer points off attack points, 47-37.

Kim Dy paced La Salle with 15 points, while Desiree Cheng and Majoy Baron scored 13 and 11 points each. Tin Tiamzon rounded up the Lady Spikers in double figures with 10.

With the win, Ateneo finished the eliminations in first place at 12-12, as La Salle slid to second with an 11-3 win-loss card. — DVM, GMA News
