Demetrious Johnson outworks Danny Kingad at ONE: Century
Former UFC flyweight world champion Demetrious Johnson relied on his movement and high octane pressure to overcome Danny Kingad en route to a unanimous decision at ONE: Century, Sunday morning at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan.

Kingad came out swinging, throwing kicks and punches to the head and body, and for a moment, the two traded strikes before Johnson went for the takedown, where he worked to land ground and pound and attempt a submission.
Johnson went to work in round two as he maintained on mount position each time they go to the mat. Kingad was on the defensive throughout the round and was unable to land much of his blows.
It was all Johnson in round three, as he merely repeated his success with his takedowns and ground game to pacify Kingad. After three five-minute rounds, all three judges saw the fight for the ex-UFC champion.
Johnson improved his record to 30-3-1 while Kingad suffered his second defeat as a professional as he dropped to 13-2. — LA, GMA News
