VP Robredo on SEA Games opening rites: Nakaka-proud maging Pinoy
Vice President Leni Robredo on Saturday lauded the opening ceremony for the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games hosted by the Philippines, saying it made her proud to be Filipino.
The 30th SEA Games officially kicked off with the opening ceremony held at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.

“Nakaka-proud maging Pinoy! Maraming salamat sa ating mga atleta, world champions, mga tagapagtanghal, and to everyone behind the #SEAGames2019 opening ceremony,” Robredo said on Twitter.
“Ang dami nating maipagmamalaki bilang isang bansa—at pinakamalakas tayo kapag ang alab ng puso ay iisa #WeWinAsOne,” she added.
The opening ceremony featured a grand display of Philippine culture and art led by numerous Filipino artists.
