Ladon, Gabuco punch in 2 more gold medals in boxing

Medals continue to pour in for the Philippines in the final day of boxing at the Southeast Asian Games on Monday.

Roger Ladon defeated Thailand's Yaodam Ammarit via unanimous decision in the men's flyweight finals. He copped the silver medal in the 2018 Asian Games in the same weight category.

Josie Gabuco, meanwhile, bagged her fifth SEA Games gold medal as she ended the match against Endang Endang of Indonesia in the women's light flyweight division via a unanimous decision.

Earlier, Carlo Paalam bagged the first gold for Philippine boxing while Irish Magno claimed silver.
