Baucas, Norada deliver wrestling golds for PHL

Filipino wrestlers Jason Baucas and Noel Norada delivered the gold medals at the Southeast Asian Games on Monday at the Angeles University Foundation, Pampanga.

Baucas overwhelmed Vietnam's Hong Phuc Duong, 11-6, in the men's Greco-Roman 72kg. Norada also dominated Phanit Eng of Cambodia, 12-0, in the men's Greco-Roman 63kg.

The Philippine wrestling team also bagged four silver medals, courtesy of Margarito Angana in the men's 60kg, Jason Balabal in the men's Greco-Roman 87kg, Michael Vijay Carter in the men's Greco-Roman 55kg, and Jiah Pingot in the women's 50kg.

Meanwhile, Jefferson Manatad claimed the bronze in the men's Greco-Roman 77kg.
