Dennis Orcollo pockets gold medal in 10-ball pool

Dennis Orcollo eclipsed Vietnam's Do The Kien to capture the gold medal in the men's 10-ball pool singles at the Southeast Asian Games on Monday at the Manila Hotel.

It took a total of 17 racks to determine the winner of the gold. Orcollo eventually bagged the last match, nine racks to eight, for billiards' third gold medal.

Chezka Centeno and Rubilen Amit split the women's 10-ball and 9-ball singles for the first two golds in pool.

Orcollo won the gold in the 2015 SEA Games 9-ball pool singles, while he captured the bronze in the 9-ball doubles category in the 2017 edition of the biennial meet.
