Jorge Masvidal dips his toes in American Cornhole League

Jorge Masvidal’s star is getting bigger and bigger regardless of how his latest trip to the octagon turned out.

The welterweight fan favorite is set to feature at American Cornhole League in special rules match against cornhole star Cody Henderson on Wednesday, August 5.

“IT. JUST. GOT. REAL,” American Cornhole League wrote on twitter.

“@GamebredFighter will go head to head against ACL Pro Cody Henderson during the 8 pm EST ESPN2 broadcast of the Man and Woman of the Year at the 2020 ACL World Championships on Wednesday 8/5!”

Cornhole is a popular American game where a small bag is thrown from a distance to shoot in a small wooden circle on the floor.

Masvidal and Henderson first met in January earlier this year. The two had a friendly conversation and played a cornhole game where Henderson defeated the MMA star round after round.

The cornhole pro gave some tips to improve, as Masvidal vowed to get better and be back to compete again.

Now that the “fight” is on, Masvidal says he would not be denied his revenge while he also took a subtle shot with his last opponent, Kamaru Usman.

“Only way I get stopped is if foot stomps are legal,” Masvidal said on Twitter.

Masvidal last saw action inside the cage in the main event of UFC 251 where he dropped a unanimous decision loss against the reigning UFC welterweight world champion Kamaru Usman. -- BAP, GMA News
