Anderson Silva booked for final fight against Uriah Hall on October 31
Former UFC middleweight world champion Anderson Silva has been booked by the UFC to face Uriah Hall on October 31 in a yet to be determined venue.
Touted by many as the greatest of all time in mixed martial arts, UFC President Dana White says Silva’s next bout may very well be his last inside the octagon.
“We like the fight, and we'll see how he does,” Silva’s manager Jorge Guimaraes told ESPN.
“The man is 45 years old, but he's always in good shape, always training. I was at his house the other day, and he was training well. He's lost a lot of weight, and he's been eating healthy.”
Silva, who holds a professional MMA record of 34-10, was supposed to fight Hall in 2014 but had to withdraw because of surgery.
He has gone 1-4 in his last five bouts and still has two fights left in his UFC contract. Hall, meanwhile, is on a two-bout winning streak and holds a record of 15-9. -- BAP, GMA News
