James de los Santos wins 5th gold medal in virtual karate competition

James de los Santos has won his 5th virtual gold medal at the E-Karate Games 2020.

He competed in the Men’s Senior Shotokan Kata division, where he defeated UK in the quarterfinals, Iran in the semifinals, and Slovenia in the final round.

De los Santos is currently No. 2 in e-kata ranking.

“This tournament will add points to the virtual kata world rankings,” the karateka shared on Facebook Thursday.

“The journey to no. 1 is a long road, but I’m not stopping,” he added. – RC, GMA News
