Joaquin Buckley delivers knockout of the year candidate at UFC Fight Night

Joaquin Buckley may have just secured knockout of the year, following a highlight-reel stoppage over Impa Kasanganay this Sunday on the undercard of UFC Fight Night: Moraes vs. Sandhagen at Fight Island in Abu Dhabi.

When his left leg got caught from a kick, Buckley unleashed a spinning back kick that landed clean on top. Kasanganay was out on his feet the moment it landed and the referee was quick to halt the contest the moment he crashed on the mat.

The end came at the 2:03 mark of round two improving Buckley’s record to 11-3 while Kasanganay tasted his first defeat and fell to 8-1.
