Jerwin Ancajas and Jonas Sultan spar in a backyard

Reigning IBF world super flyweight champion Jerwin Ancajas is making the most out of his time in the US as he awaits a date for his ninth world title defense.

The 28-year-old champ from Panabo City is currently residing in a rented apartment in Los Angeles and was joined by Jonas Sultan and Olympic gold medal hopeful Eumir Marcial.

Eager to train anywhere and anytime ‘Survival Camp’ style, old foes Ancajas (32-1-2, 22KOs) and Sultan (16-5, 10KOs) snuck in a sparring session in their backyard under the supervision of the champion’s trainer and manager Joven Jimenez.
