After initially getting snubbed of his performance bonus, UFC flyweight world champion Deiveson Figueiredo gets his due from the world’s premier mixed martial arts organization.
Figueiredo successfully defended his world title for the first time via first-round submission against Alex Perez in the main event of UFC 255 last Sunday, but was left out of the list of $50,000 performance bonuses the company gives out after every event.
He expressed his disappointment for not getting the bonus, but as it turned out, UFC president Dana White rectified that mistake by later on giving Figueiredo his bonus in cold hard cash.

The moment was captured and uploaded on an Instagram story by the fighter’s manager Wallid Ismail, then was later reposted on Twitter.
