McGregor and Poirier make weight for UFC 257

The highly anticipated rematch between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier is official after both fighters made weight for their contest.

The pair of lightweights are set to grace the main event of UFC 257 on Sunday, January 24 at the Etihad Arena in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

McGregor, 32, came in at 155 pounds while Poirier tipped the scale at 156 pounds.

The former UFC two-division world champion McGregor previously fought the former UFC interim lightweight titleholder Poirier 2014 where McGregor won by way of first-round technical knockout.

In the co-main event, both Michael Chandler and Dan Hooker weighed in at 156 pounds. -- BAP, GMA News
