BREN stops RRQ, enter grandfinals of MLBB World Championship

BREN Esports eliminated RRQ Hoshi, 3-1, to set-up a championship showdown against Burmese Ghouls in the 2020 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M2 World Championship

It was another typical lower bracket match for BREN, dropping the opening game and sweeping through the rest of the way.

After taking Game 1 in dominant fashion, RRQ seemed poised to shoot for a 2-0 series lead after a dominant early game centered around R7's exploits with the Harith scoring a 2-0-2 KDA by the 6th minute to push RRQ on 4-0 kill lead.

With RRQ protecting a 4k gold lead at the 12th minute, the MPL Indonesia defending champs committed miscalculations in the jungle area clash that took down XINNN (Ling) and Vynnn (Selena).

BREN took advantage of this and secured the luminous lord that turned the game around despite falling behind 8-15 in the kill tally for the series equalizer.

As if to make up for a lackluster Game 1 performance with the Lancelot, KarlTzy was back to his dominant self in Game 3 as they did not let up, pulling ahead in the series after just 12 minutes.

He finished with a flawless 9-0-8 KDA while also getting ample help from Pheww (Selena) who posted a 4-2-10 KDA.

BREN then did not leave any stones unturned in Game 4 as a 6th minute aggression inside RRQ's outer turret resulted in a KarlTzy (Claude) double kill that helped the Filipino hypercarry to snowball easily. It was BREN's to lose the rest of the way.

The MPL PH Season 6 Champions will dispute the world championship crown against Myanmar's Burmese Ghouls on Sunday, January 24.
