Filipina golfers Yuka Saso, Bianca Pagdanganan share light moment at Olympics

Philippine golf bets Yuka Saso and Bianca Pagdanganan had a light moment ahead of the first round of the women's golf individual stroke play in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

In a video posted on Twitter by the Ladies Professional Golf Association, Pagdangananan had a short question and answer portion with Saso.

"I have a question for you," Pagdanganan, acting like a reporter, said to Saso. "What is the best golf shot you've ever hit?"

"My tee shot on the 16th in Augusta National Women's Amateur," Saso said. "I think I had a pretty good shot."

"It was very nice, and the course was so green!" she added.

The two golfers also wished each other luck for their tournament this week at the Olympics.

Pagdanganan and Saso were part of the 2018 Asian Games team that won the gold medal for team golf. In the individual golf event of the same tournament, Saso won the gold while Pagdanganan claimed the bronze.

Pagdanganan also won a gold medal for individual play in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games. Saso, meanwhile, was crowned US Women's Open champion in June this year.

The first round of the Olympic golf tournament is still ongoing.
