Omega snaps skid with sweep of TNC

Omega Esports snapped their three-game losing skid in dominant fashion as they swept TNC Pro Team, 2-0, in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 8 elimination round on Sunday.

The MSC 2021 champs sorely missed Duane “Kelra” Pillas' presence in the first two weeks as they succumbed to a 1-4 win-loss card. They now improved to 2-5 with 9pts to rise up in the top half of the standings behind league leaders Blacklist International and Onic Philippines.

Omega recovered from a 1-4 kill deficit early in Game 1 as they rode Kelra's 4-0-0 KDA to stay in the match.

They held on and executed a well-calculated 2-0 wipe, Kielvj “Kielvj” Hernandez (Lancelot) double kill, in the 24th minute to secure the luminous lord and take a 1-0 lead.

Kelra finished with a 5-3-4 KDA while Kielvj was also solid with a 9-3-5 KDA.

Omega did not let up as Kielvj took a 2-0-0 KDA as early as the 2nd minute in Game 2 with timely pickoffs to lead the Southeast Asian kings' lethal form.

Kelra closed it out as he led a 3-1 exchange in a 12th minute base turret push with a triple kill to complete the sweep.

Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic was also phenomenal as he had a 100% kill participation in Omega's first 8 kills courtesy of outstanding plays on the Pharsa to finish with a 4-0-7 KDA. Kielvj and Kelra posted 5-0-6 and 3-1-4 KDAs respectively.

The loss relegated TNC to a tie for 6th-7th with 6pts.
