Blacklist International dominates MPL Philippines Season 8 awards

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 8 awards once again added to the already growing legacy of Blacklist International after they took four of the five spots in the selections for Team of the Season.

Headlining the list is Season 8 MVP Salic "HAD JI" Imam for the roaming role followed by Blacklist skipper Johnmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna who was selected as the top mid-laner this season. Kiel "OHEB" Soriano and Edward Jay "Edward" Dapadap were also selected as the top choice Gold and EXP laners, respectively.

Onic Philippines's Kairi "Kairi" Rayosdelsol took the jungling role honors, edging out Blacklist jungler Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosario who came in second.

The Mythical Team was selected from this seasons' top four teams in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, RSG Philippines' John Cedrix "Demonkite" Caranto, who was sensational in leading the team's 5th-6th finish as the jungler, bagged the Rookie of the Season award.

Coming in second and third were Omega's Raizen and Nexplay EVOS' Hesa.

The Team of the Season selections were the culmination of Blacklist's superb performance in Season 8, where the team also took the top honors in each statistical category: total kills, average kills, total assists, average assists, and KDA.

Blacklist, together with the top six finishers in the regular season, are currently preparing for the MPL Invitational set to open on Tuesday, November 2, where they will face-off against the top teams across Southeast Asia.
