Omega Esports ends contract of CTY, Prince, Zenki; says Valve lifted ban for Spring season
Omega Esports made some moves after the team got banned from Valve-sponsored events due to "engagement in match-fixing activities."
In a statement released on Wednesday, Omega Esports said they conducted an investigation following their ban from the DOTA Pro Circuit Winter Season.
This led to the termination of contract of Chris "CTY" Maldo. The Smart-backed team also ended the contracts of Prince "Prince" Daculan and Ryniel "Zenki" Calvez, following the decision of Valve.

Omega Esports also said Valve accepted their appeal to lift the ban and allowed them to join the DOTA Pro Circuit Spring Season and other Valve-sponsored events.
"Smart Omega will also strengthen its internal processes to prevent these kinds of incidents from happening in the future," the team said.
