Blacklist slays another Indonesian giant in RRQ, secures top 4 finish in M3 World Championship

Blacklist International has seemingly woken up like a monster in the lower bracket with a sweep of powerhouse RRQ Hoshi of Indonesia, 3-0, to secure at least a top 4 finish in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M3 World Championship on Friday.

With Onic Philippines already assured of a top 3 finish, an all-Filipino grand finals could soon be a reality should both teams sweep their games tomorrow.

Blacklist secured their signature Yi Sun-shin, Paquito and Mathilda picks in the Game 1 draft, yet, RRQ survived up until the 35th minute.

The Filipinos controlled the early to mid game and even established a 21-11 kill lead but the Indonesians accurately defended four crucial lord invades.

After RRQ picked off Kiel "OHEB" Soriano (Esmeralda) on a misdirection play from Schevenko David “Skylar” Tendean (Chou) in the 32nd minute and two inhibitor turret takedowns, Blacklist retaliated with a perfectly timed Circling Eagle from Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna (Mathilda) handing Albert "Alberttt" Neilsen Iskandar (Natan) only his 2nd death of the match, to touch off a 4-1 wipe that finally gave Blacklist the head start, 1-0, in a tense and lengthy opening showdown.

Danerie James “Wise.” Del Rosario (Yi Sun-shin) played a perfect hypercarry in the opening Game with a 13-0-9 KDA as his smooth evasion from crucial pick offs helped Blacklist dodge numerous bullets.

The Indonesian King of Kings looked rejuvenated in Game 2 as Albertt (Paquito) led the early game rampage to score a 5-0 kill lead by the 5th minute. He had a 3-0-2 KDA at that point.

But Blacklist simply responded with a 5-1 wipeout during the 5th minute turtle fight off of Wise (Yi Sun-shin) and OHEB's (Natan) double kills.

And with two scaling heroes in their composition, complemented by Edward “EDWARD” Dapadap's (Phoveus) peskiness, the Filipinos ran away with the win by the 14th minute.

The MPL PH back-to-back champs left no stones unturned as they outdrafted RRQ in Game 3 and Wise (Aldous) respondly magnificently, scoring three easy kill by the 3rd minute

OHEB (Clint) also went on a tear, taking a 6-0-2 KDA by the 7th minute en route to an easy 11-minute conquest of the Indonesian powerhouse.

He finished with a 10-0-2 KDA, including a triple kill in the winding moments that shattered RRQ's final defense.

They now await the winner of the Evos Singapore and Todak (Malaysia) showdown for a place in the lower bracket finals.
