Bren Victress ousts Omega Empress, enters MLBB Women's Invitational semis

Bren Victress booked its slot in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Women's Invitational 2022 semifinal round after ousting compatriot Omega Empress, 2-0, in their All-Filipino quarterfinal clash on Saturday.

The win catapulted Victress to a semis duel with powerhouse GPX Basreng of Indonesia, which finished the group stage unscathed with a 4-0 slate. Like Bren, GPX Basreng also swept its quarterfinal contest against Singapore's Lugiami, 2-0.

Alexandria "Lexaaa" Dardo was a key cog in Bren's sweep victory, unleashing five kills and seven assists against no death in game one before finishing with a 3-0-9 KDA in game two, where she was hailed the match MVP.

Game one saw Bren running away with a lopsided 16-1 kill spread while wrapping up game 2 with 14-3.

Bren now moves a win away from the grand finals where it has a chance of bagging a grand prize $6,400 with the Finals MVP taking home an extra $200.

Semi matches start on Sunday, January 29, followed by the championship round.
