Drex Zamboanga scores sensational knockout at ONE: Full Circle

Filipino mixed martial arts fighter Drex Zamboanga scored a sensational first-round knockout over Rahu Raju on the undercard of ONE: Full Circle this Friday at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Zamboanga, who used to compete at flyweight, moved up three weight classes to lightweight to lock horns with Raju.

The pair scrambled in the opening minute of the contest and as soon as the fight went back to their feet, Zamboanga landed a huge right uppercut that sent his foe crashing to the mat face first.

Down and senseless on the canvas, the referee quickly jumped in to halt the contest at the 1:05 mark of round one. The win improved Zamboanga’s record to 9-5 while Raju fell to 8-7.
