Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington make weight for UFC 272

The highly-anticipated showdown between bitter rivals Jorge Masvidal and former UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington is official after both fighters made weight for the main event of UFC 272 this Sunday, March 6 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, USA.

Fan-favorite Masvidal, who owns a professional mixed martial arts record of 35-5, was first to tip the scale at 170.5 pounds. Covington (16-3), meanwhile, also came in at a ready 170.5 pounds.

“Tonight is street Judas' last supper. Tomorrow, I am sending him to the electric chair. I am going to flip the switch and fry his bum ass and electrify T-Mobile Arena like it's never been electrified before,” Covington said.

In the co-main event, former UFC lightweight world champion Rafael Dos Anjos weighed in at 160 pounds while his opponent Renato Moicano also tipped the scale at 160.
